Having been engaged in film review for many years, the author has accumulated a series of systematic articles on observation to Chinese films. These review articles are more than just comments, but get involved with connection of philosophy, politics, history and other fields; because the positions to be published are The Economic Observer and other newspaper, the articles are dwelled on films, but focus on seeking mental changes of the Chinese people and evolution of the Chinese social order and psychological order. Exploring the worldwide contest of independent film culture, the book conducts academic interpretation and analysis to some important films with ethical doubts, as well as carries out cultural analysis to the increasingly popular queer films. Moreover, the book also presents and reflects the drawbacks and cultural signs of China's current film, as well as contains the interviews conducted by the author to some important directors.
