The only way Pastor Pastornack is able to convince her congregation that she will really and truly be unavailable during her sabbatical is to leave Earth completely. Yet once she arrives on the moon, she realizes she has no idea who she is when she's not immersed in the life of her church. Recently widowed, with a grown daughter who hardly speaks to her, Pastor Pastornack looks up at the big blue marble that is her home and strives to find an identity that is not defined by her relationship to someone else.
