This is a story about a little doe that was born late in August and found herself being adopted by a loving family. Her experiences with the children of the family are something any child would dream of. Occasionally, she got into trouble as any youngster would do. As you read, we acquired all the necessary papers required to keep her but to no avail as the officers would not accept them. My intention was to let her grow up protected and then leave on her own when she was old enough. But the time we spent with her will always be remembered.
