Gunfighter Johnny Fierro is home at last. After years of hunting trouble and gaining a fearsome reputation along the Mexican border, Johnny is trying hard to settle into a new life as a rancher in the Cimarron Valley in New Mexico. He's also dealing with living with his family for the first time, adjusting to his uptight father and Harvard-educated brother. This proves hard enough after a life spent as a gun hawk, but his past just won't let him go. Whenever he turns around, something else is there to threaten his chances of making this new life a success. Whether it's gunfighters looking to settle old scores, or bushwhackers who'd like to put a bullet in his back, there's always someone out to get him.
