Sharmistha, a brilliant and extremely beautiful girl married to Kamal Sharma, when she was just eighteen and Kamal was twenty two. It was a typical arranged marriage and the groom did not see his bride before his marriage nor was consent of the bride taken for the marriage. However, Kamal was very happy to see that his wife was a very beautiful young lady. Contrary to that Sharmistha became upset to see that her husband was a skinny with an average height dark skinned young man. During that year Sharmistha passed her twelfth and Kamal was doing M.Sc in mathematics. Only criteria for which Kamal was selected by Sharmistha's parent was he was doing well in his examinations.
