"Gravity waves" have been accepted by many physicists, from Einstein on down, who see gravity as a change in the massless structure of space and time. However, Earth tides are not massless structures of space and time. Here, I look into the matter and find that, unlike oscillating electrons in an antenna sending out radio waves which can interact with a receiver antenna, mass interacting on mass, oscillating mass cannot send out "gravity waves" which can interact with geometry, a massless space time structure. The reason being, oscillating mass, only under certain orbital parameters of mass, distance and speed, can emit electromagnetic waves. The LIGO project claim that it has detected "gravity waves" is a science boondoggle because it makes hypothesis about the nature of oscillating mass and "gravity waves" which negate Newton's and Kepler's laws, and the basic postulates of Quantum theory
