本书分为"中华好诗"和"中华好词"两部分。"中华好诗"按先秦诗、汉魏六朝诗、唐诗、宋元明清诗四部分排序，"中华好词"分为唐五代词、宋辽金词、元明清词三部分，每部分前面都有关于这一时期诗词的宏观介绍。(This book is divided into two parts: "the good poems of China" and "the good ci of China".
