《中华吟诵读本》的"中华"二字有三层含义：1."中华"泛指中华各族人民，"吟诵"这种艺术形式是中华民族的宝贵文化遗产，用"中华吟诵"来概括，比较恰当；2.本书所收录的吟诵录音来自全国各地，用"中华"二字来概括它也很得体；3.本书由中华书局出版，所以"中华"又是"中华书局"的简称。因此，我们把本书定名为《中华吟诵读本》。(The meaning of "Zhonghua" in the book title is three-fold. First, "Zhonghua" means people of the Chinese nation. "Chanting-recitation" is an invaluable cultural legacy of the Chinese nation, so "Zhonghua Chanting and Recitation" is appropriate. Second, the selected chanting-recitation audios come from all parts of the country of "Zhonghua". Third, this book is published by Zhonghua Book Company which is often referred to as "Zhonghua".
