Six episodes from the hit BBC Radio comedy, written by and starring Andy Hamilton. In 'Knowledge and Ignorance', Satan punishes a feng shui expert and has a debates with the Professor over whether humans can handle knowledge or not. 'Beautiful England' finds Satan setting out to prove to the Professor that the English are the worst nation on Earth, while 'Health and Safety' sees the inhabitants of Hell joined by a Health and Safety inspector who says the lighting is inadequate. In 'Poets' Corner', Satan decides to visit Yeats in Poets' Corner and Thomas and Scumspawn try writing some poetry of their own. 'Sleep' starts with Thomas and the Professor discovering that Satan does not know what it's like to sleep, so they try to give him forty winks; and 'Beauty' introduces a legendary lovely to Hell when Helen of Troy meets the Professor and Thomas.
