On a routine visit to an international bank in Switzerland, Charles Black, the just retired Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, finds himself in jail - suddenly and inexplicably imprisoned by the Swiss police. He is accused of committing massive frauds in the financial markets, allegedly netting him over $450 million. The case against him seems ironclad - almost too perfect. It is nearly certain that he will be convicted and will spend 30 years doing hard labor in a Swiss prison. He has been framed - set up. Charlie's wife Sally has almost given up hope when she is approached by a mysterious Italian who claims he can engineer Charlie's escape. The price: $3 million. With no alternative in sight, Sally agrees and the escape is successful. But what Charlie and Sally don't know is that the Italian is in a league with the people who framed Charlie and that their trouble has only begun…
