A guide to the monuments and memorials in the Stanhope Chapel of Shelford Church, Nottinghamshire, UK. The church was long associated with the Stanhope family (the branch that became Earls of Chesterfield) - from 1539 to 1875 to be precise. The various monuments and tablets commemorating family members were moved into the Chapel during the renovation of the church in 1877-79, and my book provides a guide to their nature and history.
