本书首次提出了一套针对美国幼儿园至八年级汉语课堂设计的语言与文化相结合的课程模式。该模式主要设计八个文化主题(家庭、食物与中医、地理与旅游、历史、政治与宗教等),结合不同年龄阶段学生的生理及认知发展特征,设计出了各主题中各阶段的教学内容和课堂活动。This book first proposes a curriculum model for US K-8 mandarin classroom design which combines language with culture. In the model, there are eight cultural themes (Family, Food and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Geography and Tourism, History, Politics and Religion, and so on). Considering characteristics of physiological and cognitive development of students at different ages, teaching contents and classroom activities for each theme at each stage are designed.
