A seventeen year old girl follows a man down a beach on Sea Island in Georgia. When she starts to follow the man he appears to be in his forties. Further down the beach when he approaches two girls he looks to be just twenty years old and later his hair changes from a very dark brown to Scandinavian blond. Every person they pass on the beach is scared of the man and some of them are very scared of him. The girl feels no fear, there is a connection between her and the man in front of her. What is the bond between them and when will she have to honor it?
