The elves have left the land of humans in search of the lost city of the builders. Waylaid across the ocean, they find themselves upon a new land where they find elves already living there. Mavok and the other elders meet a Guardian who sleeps within a mountain and is responsible for Ascensions. Mistaking the intentions of the inhabitants a small group of elves, cut off from the others they infiltrate the mountain to rescue the others upon the advice of someone that is about to betray the others in the pursuit of power.
