When Brody Morgan comes back to Clifton from Butte, it's because his life is in turmoil. He slept with a married woman, lost his US Marshal job, and is firmly implanted in the crosshairs of a mobster that is out for blood. Not only that, but the woman he's always loved, Madilyn Young, isn't too happy with him either, since he left her five years earlier to join the Marshals. But none of that matters now. Brody is back, and determined to turn his life around. That will all start with Maddie—if she'll even speak to him, that is.
