Born in 1902, Georgette Heyer was a highly private writer, never giving interviews or making public appearances. She was married in 1925 and had one son. She died in 1974. Eve Matheson's theatre credits include King Lear, Ghosts and Coram Boy. On television she has played Becky Sharp in Vanity Fair, Zoe in May to December Catherine Grieve in Ambassador and Rita Harvey in Jericho.
