(This book argues that in the Qin Dynasty, Zouyi Articles came into being but were of little momentum. Zouyi Articles in the Han Dynasty were of great momentum, with pertinent argumentation and read smoothly. During the Wei and Jin dynasties, imperial power wason the wane and Zouyi Articles were in transformation for ornament, or for argumentation. Zouyi Articles had a flowery style in the Southern Dynasty and a simple style in the Northern Dynasty. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Zouyi Articles were in harmonious proportion where the history of Zouyi Articles was in step with the history of ancient Chinese imperial bureaucracy and related to trends of thought in literature, adjusting itself politically and aesthetically to be the top one with both ideological content and artistic quality. This can be a theoretically innovative book in that it studies the generation, development and vicissitudes of the ancient Chinese Zouyi Articles from an original perspective of Zouyi system, offering us new ideas, a new perspective and a brand new way for research of Zouyi Articles.)
