A woman from the east coast has always loved riding and even racing horses, but women were not allowed to be jockeys at that time. She becomes a mail order bride to a man in Texas, who owns a horse ranch and she sees this as a prime opportunity to be the first female jockey in America, only it doesn't quite work out as she envisions.
