An overweight woman is sent to Nebraska to be a mail order bride, through the machinations of her mother, who has sent a picture other than hers to the cowboy. He is surprised when he sees her, as she is when she learns that he has three children. Both wonder if love will blossom and what they will do if it doesn't.
