本书从语言功能出发，有所选择地运用语义语法学理论、语法化理论、标记理论，以及认知和类型学的相关理论，从一种新的视角考察汉语句法语义层面的标记词羡余现象及相关问题，重点研究了题元标记词和时体标记词的功能羡余问题。本书既从共时的角度对虚词的语义标记功能及其羡余现象作相对细致的描写，又从历时的角度考察部分羡余标记词的产生、固化、弱化或功能转移的过程，以及对语言系统产生的影响。研究过程力求描写和解释相结合，宏观研究和微观个案分析相结合。相信这些基础性研究将对对外汉语教学和中文信息处理在相关领域的深入起到积极作用。( Starting from linguistic function, this book selectively employs semantic grammatical theory, grammaticalization theory, markedness theory and relevant theories of cognition and typology on investigating the redundancy phenomena of Chinese syntactic-semantic markers and relevant problems from a new perspective and focuses on studying the functional redundancy problems of thematic and tense-aspect markers. This book relatively describes the semantic marking functions and the redundancy phenomena of structural words in detail from the synchronic perspective and investigates the production, solidification, weakness or function transfer process of some redundant markers and their effect on language system from the diachronic perspective. Description and explanation, macro-research and the analysis of micro individual cases should be combined in the research process to the utmost.
