In Roman controlled Britain, life is brutal and harsh. Daily life is dictated by the seasons, the Gods, and by the Druids. Almost an adult, Epona knows there is no place for her in her village. Living with her sister, the only escape she has is helping an elderly neighbor, or marrying a wealthy trader.Life progresses as it should until Epona meets the mysterious Lir, and must decide between the desires of her heart and the well-being of her village.
