Detective John Cale, the Bulldog, from LPD is on a vacation trip with his girlfriend Nellie Dale. They had chosen to take a three months cruise vacation. Their journey took them first to Japan, then through the bearing sound to the cold water and finally down the Canadian and Alaskan shores. The trip after two month started to get boring. Then one day, about the lunch time, the entire ship was shaken. Through the system on board they were told a volcano had erupted right under the ship. Ar first there were no direct problems for the passengers, however suddenly the entire ship was lifted up, and slammed down again as the full force of the volcano erupted. Many passengers were injured, and some had died from this latest eruption. The captain had told all staff and not injured passengers to help the injured once. John made an emergency call, and got the military forces, with helicopters to help taken the injured to hospital. While this happened, two brothers that were serving the tables in the dining room, took the chance and went in to every cabin and stole whatever they could find of value.When John Dale with his girlfriend Nellie found out, a hunt started that went from Canada, through the United Stated and down to Mexico. The thieves had killed two policemen and were hunted by an international force. Detective Dale together with Nellie and an Air-force copter pilot not only got the thieves, even all the stolen items back.
