Lexi doesn't believe in love. In her experience all love does is manipulate and hurt. Which is exactly why a friends-with-benefits relationship works best for her. Mike is gorgeous, funny, and just as driven as she is, which means he won't want more.

But when Mike gets a promotion which makes him Lexi's boss, she ends their relationship. She isn't willing to sleep with her boss, especially when she's up for his old job. She knows what people will think, and say, if they find out she's sleeping with him. And Lexi doesn't want anyone to think she doesn't deserve the job, including herself.

There's just two big problems with that. 1 - Lexi misses the sex. And if she's honest, she misses Mike too. 2 - Mike isn't willing to let Lexi go, even if he is her boss.

Lexi has to figure out what's worse... sleeping with her boss or a life without good sex.
