Metamorphosis:  Gregor used to be the main support of his family. One day he waked to find himself metamorphosed into a large, monstrous insect-like creature. His family grew increasingly impatient to him. His furious father cast the apple which hit him and inlaid into his inner flesh. Then he died from the inflammation and fester of skin. Kafka is good at writing human tragedy without any emotion, by extreme cold and purely objective narrative method and plain, concise, fluent language.
