Heart of Darkness: An English trading company entrusts "I" (Charles Marlow) to help find its trading agent Mr. Kurtz in the African jungle. When "I" find him, he has gone mad and dies soon. Conrad used first person narrative to depict the adventure meanwhile shows how these colony settlers feel in Africa. Heart of darkness points to the interior of Africa continent, but also to the darkness of people's corrupted hearts.
