Common Sense: Common Sense written by Thomas Paine was published anonymously in January 1776 with "an Englishman" signature. As the name showed, it was all about common sense, but it had an enormous shocking impact on people after the gunfire breaking out in Lexington on January 1776. It was the book that inspired people in the Thirteen Colonies to declare and fight for independence from Great Britain in the summer of 1776. The pamphlet disclosed the oppression essence of Great Britain and explained the advantages of and the need for immediate independence in clear, simple language. It can be said that prompted the American independence. It is also the classics necessary for contemporary youth to read.(常识:《常识》是托马斯·潘恩 1776年1月以"一个英国人"的署名而发表的,内容确实如书名所言,全是常识,但这些常识是就今天而言的,在莱克星顿的枪声打响之后的1776年1月,这本书所具有的震撼人心的作用是今人所不可想象的。
