It was an unusual hot summer. And no rain in the forecast this week, again. A solar flair had erupted, and the news media told us that it wasn't bigger than any other flairs over the last hundred years. So, it might be enough to shut of some electrical grids. However the following day we were told that a much bigger solar flair had erupted. It had been hidden by Venus and was now passing Venus orbit. This was a doomsday size eruption, and we were told to stay inside for the rest of the day. When the flair had passed us, there was no more electricity. And with no electricity no gas at the gas-station. A total anarchy started with people stealing, and shooting each other for whatever food they could get their hands on. The lucky once were the people that died early. For them, no hunger and no pain.
