LSS has been widely used in industry for over a decade, but its application in the context of HEI's is still in the embryonic stages. The chapters in this eBook have been selected from the First International Conference on LSS for Higher Education founded and chaired by the Guest Editor of this eBook. The principal aim of the conference has been to provide a unique international forum where participants freely exchange challenges and experiences on the application of Lean, Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma methodologies in the Higher Education context.
