Tammy is a sassy, independent club owner that has been in an off and on relationship with John since John graduated from college. He wants to protect her from the men at the club. She wants him to trust her to be able to take care of herself and know when to ask for help. When John gets a promotion to Chief of Police, things get worse for the two of them because he spends too much time trying to learn how to be the best Chief he can be. That leaves little time to spend with Tammy and talk about their issues.
She and her best friends sign at her club. They use their song choices to express their feelings. All of the friends are closer than most families and are there for each other through good times and bad. When trouble comes to town they all have to work together to keep the women safe.
