This pattern knits up into a lovely, stylish and snug fitting winter cap or beanie that sports traditional Aran bobbles, set off on a background of garter stitch. The hat is thick and warm as well as both soft and lightweight.

Things to know about this pattern:

Skill level: Advanced beginner. This hat requires extremely basic knitting skills. The only complicated factors relate to creating the bobbles. It can require nimble fingers. There is also a three needle bind-off needed at the end.

Size: Fits adult size (23") and stretch for a size 24".

Supplies Required:

About 200 yards of any yarn that meets the gauge specifications.

Size US 7 circular needles (16" long)

Size US 7 double pointed needle (dpn) – one set of five needles

Stitch marker(s) and tapestry needle
