Kimball O'Hara is a thirteen year old son of a Irish sergeant stationed in India. After the death of his father, the boy begins his wanderings through India during which he will meet a Buddhist monk with whom will establish a friendship that will last even after his departure to attend the college working under cover with the British secret service.
