This e-book is dedicated to the topic of Chinese Entrepreneurship and has a specific focus on innovation and growth. It is a follow-up of the first e-book on entrepreneurship and small business development in China, which was published in JSBED Volume 13, Issue 2. In 2006, we observed that despite the growing interest in Chinese entrepreneurial practices, research in this important topic of academic endeavour remained relatively neglected. Two years since the publication of the first e-book we are pleased to note that the situation has changed and that the number of articles and books on Chinese entrepreneurship has grown considerably. The main aim of this e-book is to present, explore and reflect on the Chinese experience of entrepreneurship and to critically evaluate the application and implications of the Chinese entrepreneurial model.
