A spoiled rich girl meets a handsome but poor Mexican during a missionary trip for her church. He convinces her to join him in exploring Mexico and their mutual attraction before she heads back to the USA. The two quickly fall in love and she has to decide whether to stay with him in rural poverty or return to her privileged life.
