A poor man finds a goose who lays a golden egg every morning. From then on his life takes a turn for the better, but the man is still not satisfied. Finally, he kills the goose in hope of retrieving more golden eggs, but there is nothing inside the goose. As the goose dies, his fortune also ends. This Aesop's fable teaches children that greed could leave one with nothing at all.
