皐月賞で先頭を走っていた氷室翔とシンケンは、追い上げてきた西影のセルピコと館中のタケノタクトに先頭を譲って脚をためる。その後、リードを広げようとする西影のセルピコと再び先頭に並んだ氷室のシンケンだったが、ゴールまで残り1ハロンを切ろうかという所で馬群を割って伸びてきたファイアスターら有力馬4頭と横一線に並び、皐月賞は大混戦に......!? Hiromu and Shinken were leading ahead of the rest in the Satsuki Sh? race, but decide to save energy when Nishikage and Takenaka comes running up and lets them lead for a while. As Nishikage tries to get even further ahead with Hiromu and Shinken catching up, a halon before the finish line Fire Star and other powerful rivaling horses cut through the group and line up neck and neck, battling for the Satsuki Sh?...!?
