八百長で追放された元騎手･山形に声をかけられた氷室翔を目撃したスポーツ記者･末永は、一番人気なのにおかしな騎乗をして敗北した氷室のレースに疑惑を抱く。そして八百長疑惑をスクープ記事にされJRAから呼び出された氷室は、山形と仲間のヤクザが逮捕された事で身の潔白が証明されるのだが、騎手としての信用が失墜して騎乗依頼がこなくなってしまい......!? Journalist Suenaga witnesses ex-jockey Yamagata, who was fired due to a hippodrome, talking to Himuro. Seeing the winning Hiromu suddenly losing in a peculiar way in the next race, he believes Hiromu to have gotten involved with Yamagata. The journalist reports this as an article, leading to Hiromu being called out by the Japan Racing Association. Luckily Yamagata and his yakuza gang are arrested and Hiromu's innocence is proven, but his reputation is damaged greatly, and no one wants to let him ride anymore....!?
