"An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green was first published in 2006. It is a young adult novel. The novel was a finalist for the Michael L. Printz Award.

The story revolves around the central character Colin. He happens to be a child prodigy. He definitely has a type. He happens to have dated nineteen girls up to the present time. All of them are named Katherine.

Colin does not know how it happens because he claims that he does not particularly go for girls named Katherine. He has no idea how to have a normal relationship with girls.
