Not by the chain-rattling, cold spot, moaning sort of specters. Six evil sorcerers have escaped from the Saghred. They aren't dead, but they aren't exactly alive, either. My link to the Saghred makes me the Conclave Guardians' specter-hunting bloodhound. Not only can I sense the specters; I can see them. Lucky me. Made all the more fun that while I hunt them, they are hunting me. The dominant specter is using murder to regenerate himself by absorbing the life forces of carefully chosen victims, enriching himself with their knowledge, memories, and magic. His ultimate goal is control of the Saghred, and if he gets it, he'll be unstoppable. And he only needs to do one more thing—kill me.
