It has been foretold, yet the enigma of the message leaves much to interpretation. All the signs are there, but none know the truth of it but the Sisters of the Great Mother. Two children are born. Two children grow up to be adults in completely different cultures. Both children are the saviors of their world if they were to just know how. Blackwolf, a swordsman of the northern tribesmen, seeks to find consolation by hunting down and eradicating the murders of his family. Aiela, seeking to save her country from disaster from the empire, heads in the same direction seeking to stop the very people Blackwolf is hunting. Along the way, complications and tribulations seem to hinder their movements. While Blackwolf contends with the Prince of the realm, Aiela must deal with someone who seeks to keep them from attaining a position to protect their nation. Both hope that their training is enough to overcome the complications that are in their way.
