A largely artistic piece, "Miles To Go Before We Sleep" is a collection of vignettes following the lives of two post-apocalyptic wanderers—Geoff Davis, a defective soldier in a nonexistent war, and Mercer Grey, a renounced cannibal hoping to bury the remains of his old identity.
