中国传统领导理论仍有广泛的现实意义。现代领导者学习领导理论无非有三条途径:一是在战争中学习战争,在实践中摸索;二是学习现代西方的领导理论;三是学习中国传统领导理论。前两条途径无疑是重要的,但后一条途径具有更加容易接受和掌握的特点。因为古代领导理论虽然存在了二千多年,也有语言的障碍,但毕竟是同一民族的思想,有着鲜明强烈的民族风格和民族气派,同现代中国人属于同一种思维类型。学习和研究起来,更加容易理解和接受,更容易操作和实施,更易产生领导效果。现代领导者应该在眼睛向外,学习西方领导理论,勇于实践,善于总结领导实践经验的同时,认真学习中国人自己的领导理论,并在实践中使之发扬光大,让古老的理论焕发出新时代的光辉。(Chinese traditional leadership theory still has extensive practical significance. In general, modern leaders learn leadership theories by three ways: first, learning wars in wars and finding methods in practice; second, learning modern western leadership theories; third, learning Chinese traditional leadership theory. The former two ways are important obviously, but the latter one is easier to accept and master. Although ancient leadership theory exists more than 2,000 years with language obstacles, thoughts of the same nation have distinctive and strong national style and features. Learning and researching it is easier to understand and accept, operate and implement and produce leader effect. Modern leaders should be open to learning western leader theory, be brave to practice, be good at summarizing practical experience of leadership, at the same time, they should learn Chinese own leadership theory to carry forward and renew it in practice and bring it up to date.)
