This is the story of Petal a woodland fairy. She is away from her beloved woods collecting fairy dust. when she returns she is unable to find anyone. She finally finds Mr. Owl and asked where everyone has gone. He informs her that everyone is out finding the perfect gift for the newborn babe Jesus. She doesn't know who he is, but Mr. Owl tell her about the babe. She goes in search of the perfect gift for the new born babe Jesus. She is unable to find anything that she believes to be good enough for the babe. Traveling to the stable where he is born she stands in line waiting for her turn to present her gift. when it is her turn she tells Mary that she has nothing to give the babe but her love and her golden wings.
