《中国的大洋事业》一书由国家海洋局海洋发展战略研究所负责编写和审校。是国家出版基金资助出版项目、"十二五"国家重点图书出版规划项目"中国海洋"丛书中的一本分册。本书叙述了中国进行大洋活动的主要空间——国际海底区域相关法律制度的产生和发展、国际海底区域的丰富资源和重要战略价值以及中国进行大洋科考、参与国际海底区域事务、申请国际海底区域矿区等实践活动。（200.The Maritime Undertaking of China was compiled and revised by the Marine Development Strategy Institute of State Oceanic Administration.
