Richard had been an accomplished script writer, song writer and composer in Hollywood. But now old age had prevented him from producing the same magic. His son Mark dreamed of Hollywood but shirked from hard work. Richard sent him on a long journey east to find a hidden treasure buried under a stone. On the way Mark falls in love with Betty Baker. They found the stone that had etched on it his father's name in the Hollywood hall of fame. Mark got his lesson and worked hard to become an ace director in Hollywood.
