The study on feminism in Malaysia has gone through its initial teething phase. This book takes the reader to the next level with a discussion from a more recent angle using the gynocriticism framework proposed by Showalter. Well-organised and fortified with pertinent arguments and examples, the discussion provides a clear overview on the literary practices of women writers, which are based on female biology and experience.
