Born in a time when China consisted of many small squabbling states, Confucius had a passion for educating the people with benevolence and righteousness. His teaching philosophy was to treat each student differently according to their needs; he discussed moral with his many pupils from an equal level, and was known as "the Supreme Saint Teacher".孔子生於春秋亂世，總是滿懷熱情，希望以仁義教化人心。他因材施教，與門下眾多弟子平等地交流互動，後人尊為「至聖先師」。
