Phoenix Weekly is a Hong Kong based news magazine mainly focusing on current affairs, politics and culture. It is sponsored by Hong Kong Phoenix TV and franchised by the Information Office of Chinese State Council and Chinese State Administration of Press and Publication and is published in Mainland China.

This section collects data journalism concerning public life, provides news insights and analysis, and brings in up-to-date global headlines from major international news stations and the latest of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and surrounding countries. Additionally it looks at China from a comparative perspective by selecting some of the best foreign media coverage on China.

Cover Story

The leading column of Phoenix Weekly, usually provides in-depth exclusive reports on some of the most important political, cultural and life events in China, including those in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Mainland Politics

This section primarily focuses on the latest movement in law, major investigations, social policies and Communist Party that effects Chinese society. The coverage confined chiefly, but not exclusively, to people, public and social affairs, government policies, legal investigations, religious and ethnic problems and military affairs. With its Hong Kong identity, it is unique among Chinese weeklies in providing exclusive reports with an internal yet detached perspective.

Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau
