本书遵循"先上下，后内外"的思路将《论语》分为上下两编。上编五篇，包括为学、修身、明仁、知礼、行孝，侧重格物致知、正心修身、克己复礼；下编五篇，包括为政、治国、论人、处世、砭时，侧重待人处事、为政治国、针砭时弊。注解部分分为注释、译文、浅析，解释了名词术语、名物典制等，并依据正文含义，结合作者心得，对各章逐一做出义理概括和类别归属。书末附录《论语》原文。(Following the principle of "first up and down, inside and outside after" This book divided the idea of the "Analects" into two volumes. The first five series, including science, Slim, Akihito, polite, piety, focusing on inquiring; for the second five series, including the government, the country, the people while focusing on others things for political country and point out problems. Notes section is divided into parts, translation, analysis, interpretation of the terminology, the name of Code system. Based on the meaning of the text, and combined with the author experience, this book makes moral principles of each chapter summary and categories. Appendix is the original of "The Analects of Confucius".)
