Pendleton Connor is a rookie pilot on the best airship in the sky, The Egress. Alongside his fellow pilots, Hazel, Thatcher and Abigail, The Egress is charged with protecting the research of Doctor Guillory.
During a rations stop, Dr. Guillory receives a letter from her colleagues in the secretive organization known simply as the Society. The Egress is summoned to the organization's headquarters, but the airship comes under attack from a long forgotten enemy.
Pendleton and the crew must act quick to stop the Jupiter Cult once more. As the crew makes their way to the Society, secrets will be uncovered, friendships tested and Pendleton will learn the world is a larger place than he once thought.
