There are three things I know. The first of them is that Mabus is not the name of God. The second is that I am Joan. Just that, Joan. A part of me rebels though, and in splitting away from the rest, that part knows itself as Joan of Mud. That Joan, believes that, if the spirit were freed of imprisoning flesh then redemption would be hers. I understand her curiosity, her wishing to hope that she is correct, but however hard she pushes I will not be swayed to grant her way. She is but a small part of me, I am a democracy, the majority rules, and that, is that. I know that Mabus does not do a good job of playing God. He does not give a fig or a hoot for any other than himself.
